This workshop will be help in conjunction with our Annual Open House at our home about 12 miles NE of Ritzville, WA. This workshop will take place the day after the Open House event which will be held on June 20th from 10am-4pm.

Have you ever wanted to make a Mariner’s Compass block but were too intimidated? Not a fan of paper piecing or using tedious templates? You’ll love this class for learning how to make 16-point compass blocks in 16 different sizes using Robin Ruth Design’s rulers and strip-piecing method!

Students get to choose which kind of compass they will make - Skinny Robin or Fat Robin. We will make an OctaCompass block and then finish the center and into a project ready square. Once you learn how to use my rulers and strip-piecing technique, you will be free to move on to one of the many patterns and projects made using this ruler system!

Once you have signed up and paid for class, a supply list will be emailed to you. Each student will use either the Skinny Robin or Fat Robin 16-Point Mariner’s Compass Book and Ruler Combo for class - this is NOT included in the workshop price. If you do not already have one, you can purchase one here the day of class or the day prior at the Open House. Please do not purchase on Amazon. Even though it may say Robin Ruth Design, these are third-party sellers and I can not guarantee what you will be shipped.
